The human race has many members,
Its colors and hues are quite a few,
Which at sometime or other
Has come to be known by you
Your color makes no difference,
To all the Creator has given a mind,
With which you can use to reason,
To avoid being spiritually blind.
That one group or another
Regardless of its color
Is, has once been, or is new becoming uncouth,
Regardless of of how some have tried,
Cannot, by you, be denied,
If you're realistically aware of truth.
The truth of what's the matter,
Many avoid as they'd rather
Not admit to what they're really concerned;
So, some deliberations,
Cause a few procrastinations.
That such situations do arise
Should, to you, be no surprise,
For you have found that the reason lies
In our realm of social ties.
Our ties were and still are such,
That many have chosen [ Because of fears, prejudices, and hates] to forget much --
Of the brotherhood of Man.
And of the Creator's Revealed Plan.
It will be enough now to say,
That most are aware of the only way --
Having had preached to them the Word
[see for instance 1st John 3:17 and 2nd John 4:20]
Can they, in truth, deny the things they've heard
Note: the original poem has no title, but this title seems apt.
